Support for You

What’s My Role?

As your professor, I am here to support you in meeting our course goals and learning outcomes. I strive to make this course clear and ensure you can see your pathway to success.

Student and Campus Support Services

Being a student involves a lot more than course work though. I want to encourage you to be aware of and use the amazing resources that KCC has available to you (e.g., Tutor.com, Counseling Center, Accessibility & Disability, Women’s Center). If I sense you might benefit from one of these resources, I will let you know. If you feel you might benefit from them, by all means, take care of yourself by reaching out directly for assistance. Visit these pages for more information:

Access-Ability Services

Access-Ability Services (AAS) serves as a liaison and resource to the KCC community regarding disability issues, promotes equal access to all KCC programs and activities, and makes every reasonable effort to provide appropriate accommodations and assistance to students with disabilities. Your instructor will make the accommodations you need once you provide documentation from the Access-Ability office (D-205). Please contact AAS for assistance at aas@kbcc.cuny.edu or visit their Access-Ability Services webpage

Blackboard Technical Support

Blackboard is the tool you will use to access our online course.
